Spotlight: Dr Diana

As we have so many new faces to our space, we thought we would do a little get to know me each month of our team. This month its me

I am deeply passionate about health, wellness and vitality. As a mother of 2 kids, I spend alot of my time finding ways to be creative, have fun and keep little minds occupied during the day.

I came from a family that was very into health and vitality, with parents who would exercise, grow food from their own garden and make many things from scratch, which has probably lead me to my current enjoyment of making sourdough.

I came to chiropractic as a child as a means to help keep me healthy, however in high school I experienced debilitating migraines that needed deeper investigation with MRI's, CT's and blood tests which all lead to no answers, this is when chiropractic care entered and saved my life. With continuity of care, adjustments and a few tweaks to my life, I had the life changing experience of natural healing through chiropractic care and never looked back.

As a mother of 2 and going through the pregnancies, birth and postpartum/breastfeeding journeys, looking back, I was always after a way to do this period of my life as naturally and health focused as possible. Around the age of 14, I witnessed a very traumatic birth journey in my family and started searching for a better way woman can experience pregnancy and birth in their lives.

This began my love of all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum, which eventually lead me to 2 low risk pregnancies, and 2 drug-free natural births, one at the hospital and one at home, if you would like to hear my birth stories, you can listen to my podcast here.

I utilised chiropractic care through my pre pregnancy, during pregnancy and postpartum which was amazing for myself and for my babies who were able to breastfeed for 2+ years each (many, many challenges on that breastfeeding journey) however it taught me so much about how chiropractic is key and pivotal in the health of myself and my babies in their lives, helping foster their immunity, sensory, motor and brain development.

So thats a bit about me, why I do what I do, and why I love it. You will also find me cooking, baking, spending time in nature or probably dancing.

With all of that info above, it all lead me to serving, adjusting and helping you with muscular skeletal, nervous system pain/stress headaches/migraines and the further education into the techniques I now offer to our clients, such as Webster pregnancy care, Neuro-Emotional technique, Applied Kinesiology and babies and kids chiropractic. All the credentials, postgraduate and further study information I've done can be found here.
