Pesticides on food - The Dirty Dozen

Each year the Environmental Working Group (EWG) release a list “The Dirty Dozen” ranking non organic produce based on the amount of pesticides found on samples.

The point of the list is not to cause alarm, but rather build awareness around the choices available and when buying organic might be the better option.

The EWG also publish a “Clean 15” list, ranking produce showing little to no pesticide residue.
