World Spine Day #MOVEYOURSPINE

The 16th of October is World Spine Day with this years theme being #MoveYourSpine

An estimated 1 billion people worldwide suffer from back pain, with spinal pain and disability affecting all age groups, from children to the elderly. It is the biggest single cause of years lived with disability on the planet, with 1 in 4 adults estimated to suffer from back pain during their lives.

Prevention is key.

As chiropractors we use hands-on spinal adjustments to correct misalignments, restore mobility, and enhance the body’s self-healing ability.
Regular adjustments may prevent certain issues from arising by maintaining optimal spinal health, good posture and improved movement.
It can prevent the worsening of existing conditions and support overall health and wellness. Stretching and exercising has been proven to help reduce pain and prevent injury.

Exercising increases blood flow to your spine, which reduces stiffness and speeds up healing. The more you move, the better your mobility, and the lower your risk for developing painful back conditions.
